God's Bubble Wrap

This past Sunday I was involved in a minor car accident. As they always say, "you never see a crash till it's head on," or in my case...till its side-on? in any case, car accidents are one of the most terrifying experiences EVER. As i was passing through an intersection, this BIG truck's headlights were shining in my right windows and BAM i spun...first thing i thought..."Ohmygoodness, im gonna die..." i was still able to drive my car so both vehiciles pulled over and we exchanged info...this guy was a total jerk, blaming the whole incident on me, taking my info & not giving me his, this guy was no good...BUT the police showed up, i was ok, and my car wasnt' too badly damaged, all thanks to God.

Just before the accident, one of my friends told me to drive home safely...then BAM first car accident....through this whole situation God has taught me several things...

  1. He's always looking out for me & has me wrapped up in bubble wrap. The accident could have been a lot worse...the only thing i suffered from was big puffy eyes after a good cry :)

  2. Life is unpredictable in my head, but this was just another paragraph in God's story about Aubrey. God knows what He's doing and i can trust in His plans.

  3. Never take anything for granted. i was just driving home from church, something i do every week! and never did i imagine i would get into an accident! you never know when something terrible could happen, appreciate and make most of the time you have here.

  4. My true value is in Him. the first thing my dad asked was "how's the car?" not " how are YOU?" he finds so much worth in his material, worldy possessions, where as i find mine in my Father, my treasures lie in heaven. cars can be fixed...lives are irreplaceable.

"The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves." Zeph. 3:17 <3
